FYE Cosplay Event!

I’ve been working on my Marta Lualdi costume (Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World) all today and yesterday. I’m so close to being done I can taste it. All that’s left is a few major details, and I’ll be done! Problem is.. I will probably decide I’m too lazy to do them. One thing I know I HAVE to do is style my wig. It’s pretty bad right now.

Anyway, the REASON I need to get this wig done is that I’ll be going to yet another Anime event at FYE next Saturday the 31st. It’s in the Waterbusry mall… and I of course will be cosplaying. At this poiint I’d say there’s a 95% chance I’ll be Marta. My mom wants me to be Peach because she loves that costume.. but I don’t want to be bombarded by children calling me “Cinderella” anymore. D:

Pictures of my costume can be seen here

Things I have left to work on:

-Cut holes into leggings on sides

-Style Wig/ Attach flowers

-Seal her back back

-Fix Mieu

-“Armpit” details

-Fix chest detail (it’s pointy and hurts…)

-Maybe try drawing on Ratatosk’s core.

Places to go, People to see…

Really. Really.

So I’ll be going to Connecticon, Anime Boston, and otakon this year? Cosplays? for the most part to be determined. I have some plans, some ideas, we’ll see we’ll see. I shall keep everyone updated with my cosplaying endeavors.

In the mentime, let me know you’re con plans for this year!

SO, I have indeedy decided on my first cosplay for the three cons I will (hopefully) be going to this year, Otakon, Connecticon, and Anime Boston.

And it’s Prinecss Agitha. That’s right, the bug-loving creepy little girl from Twilight Princess. I’ve actually wanted to do this costume for a long time but kept changing my mind for one reason or another, but this time I shall stick with it!

It’s a somewhat tricky shaped dress to make, but where there’s a will there’s a way… I think I can figure out how to do everything when I use my noggin. ;)
